Disaster risk reduction plan

The company Razvojno Inovacioni Sistem d.o.o is engaged in the execution of the Disaster Risk Reduction Plan in accordance with the Law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management (“Official Gazette RS”, No. 87/2018), Art 16.

The plan defines the specific, preventive, organizational, technical, financial, normative, supervisory and educational measures and activities to be undertaken by the state authorities and other entities based on the estimation of individual risks in the future period and with the aim of disaster risk reduction and mitigation of their disadvantages.

The Disaster Risk Reduction Plan is prepared and issued for the territory of the Republic of Serbia, countries (National Disaster Risk Reduction Plan) and local self-government units (Local Disaster Risk Reduction Plan).

The aim of the Disaster Risk Reduction Plan is to involve in a comprehensive way all system subjects on a territory in order to plan and implement measures and activities, as well as to apply the activities and financial resources on the affected territory with the aim of responding adequately to a disaster and to quickly restore the situation to its previous state, applying the measures for strengthening the resistance to climate changes.

Penalties foreseen

The Law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management ("Official Gazette RS ", No. 87/2018) provides for the following penalties in this field.

The responsible person in the state organ, regional organ, or self-government organ or municipality shall be punished with a fine in the amount of 50,000 to 100,000 RSD if:

  1. They do not prepare the disaster risk assessment, does not issue the disaster risk reduction plan, or does not issue the protection and rescue plan (Art. 28. par. 1, item 7) and Art. 29. par. 1. item 2).
